2. Ad set

3. Ads

At the Campaign level, you will decide the end goal of your Facebook ad. As we have done, by selecting the objective as Traffic for our ad.

Ads

At the ad set level, You will decide your targeting strategies like targeting, budget and schedule.

At last Ads are creative visuals like images, videos, and carousels that drive the audience to your ads.

You can have in-depth knowledge about these Facebook ad levels here.

Now coming back to our topic.

At ‘ad set’, give the ad set name and choose where you want to drive traffic. In our case, we are driving traffic to our Website.

If you don't have Website then you can create your own website using WordPress

The next important step in the ad set is setting the budget for your ad. Set the daily budget for your Facebook ad. For best results, you should set your daily budget to Rs. 300/- at least.

Now, schedule your ad by setting the start date, and the last date. For best results, run your ad for at least a week for good results.

Now, another important step in the ad set’ is defining your Target audience. If you are targeting the nationwide audience then keep it to India only(or your targeted country).

If you are target audience is in a State or District, then select that district.

You can also select the age range and gender of your audience as per your business.

On the right-hand side, you will see Audience Definition and Estimated daily results for your Facebook ad campaign.

Then click on next, and you will be at the last level i.e., ads.

Here, you have to select your Facebook page and Instagram account to run your ads on your Facebook page and Instagram.

As Instagram is also part of Facebook ads. When we say Facebook ads, it also consists of Instagram ads.

Give your ad a name, and then select a single image or video to upload an image or a video as an Ad.

Scroll down, and upload the image for your ad and write Primary text, Headlines, and Descriptions for your ads.

Note: The Headlines, Primary text, and Description are very important for your Facebook ads. These are the things with images/videos that make your audience click on your ad. So, you should write catchy Headlines, and Primary text with a description for the audience to know about your ad.

Then give the URL of your website where you want to drive traffic, and click on the Publish button.

Yay, you have successfully created your first ad.

Facebook will not automatically run your ad, instead, your ad will be reviewed by Facebook and then within 24 hours, your ad will start running.

You can check your ad performance in Ads Manager only. I will discuss it in other posts.

Till then run your first ad, and see the results. Don’t do anything before running your first Facebook ad.
